EIGHTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

1. We wish to thank all the Parish Councilors, Associations, Animators and Parishioners for participating and helping to make St. Anne’s Feast a meaningful and joyful event.

2.  The Parish Pastoral Council will meet tomorrow / today, 2nd August at 10.30 a.m. in the Church Parlour.

3. The Ladies Sodality invites you to join in the Novena from 6th August to 14th August in preparation for the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the 7.00 p.m. Mass, and the Feast Day will be celebrated on Saturday, 15th August at the 9.30 a.m. Mass.

4. On 7th August, we shall have a First Friday Mass at 12 noon. All are welcome.

5. The Rite of Acceptance for the Confirmation candidates and First Holy Communicants will be on Sunday, 9th August at the 8.15 a.m. Mass.  Parents and Children are required to be present for this Mass.  There will also be a meeting of Parents after the Mass.

6. Vianney Sunday will be celebrated on 9th August. Please pray for the present and past priests who have served in our parish.  Envelopes will be kept in the pews, and also near the box marked ‘Vianney Sunday’ for your contribution by cash, or cheque to be drawn in favour of ‘Archdiocese of Bombay’.  The collection made is for the Clergy Fund.

7. Saturday, 15th August is the Solemnity of Our Lady of Assumption and Independence Day.  It is a day of obligation.  Masses are at : 8.15 a.m., 9.30 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. Flag hoisting outside the school at 7.15 a.m.
