FIFTH SUNDAY OF LENT

1.    The Parish Pastoral Council will meet tomorrow / today, 6th April at 11.00 a.m. in the Church Parlour.

2.    This Lent, St. Anne's Church is focusing on the Carbon Fast concept, where parishioners are encouraged to reflect on the digital poster sent weekly through the parish broadcast and take simple steps towards a Green Lenten season. This week's theme is on ‘Plastic and Paper’.

3.    Fr. Mario will conduct the next Bible Study Session on Monday, 7th April at the charismatic prayer meeting from 7.30 p.m. to 8.45 p.m.

4.    Confessions will be held on Friday, 11th April & Saturday, 12th April from 6.00 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. in the Church, with a break during Way of the Cross and Mass.

5.    Blessing of the Palms on Palm Sunday, 13th April at the 8.15 a.m. Mass in front of the Cross on the School Lawns, followed by procession in the church.

6.    The Holy-week program is as follows :

•    17th April, 2025 – Maundy Thursday

5 p.m.   – Mass for the Sick & Home bound
7 p.m.   – Mass of the Lord’s Supper
10 p.m. – Holy Hour before the Altar of Repose

•    18th April, 2025 – Good Friday

9    a.m. – Way of the Cross
10 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. – Three Hours Agony
3 p.m. – Divine Mercy Novena
6 p.m. – Celebration of the Lord’s Passion

•    19th April, 2025 – Holy Saturday

8    a.m. – Seven Sorrows of Our Lady
3 p.m. – Divine Mercy Novena
8 p.m. – Easter Vigil Service

•    20th April, 2025 – Easter Sunday

Masses at 8.15 a.m. & 9.30 a.m.
3 p.m. - Divine Mercy Novena
NO EVENING MASS

7.    Registration have opened for the Advance Liturgy Ministry Course 2025-2026 conducted by the Diocesan Liturgy Centre, Bandra.  For further details, please refer to the website or contact the Liturgy Office directly.

8.    There will be a 6-day Fun Run Workshop from Tuesday, 22nd April to Tuesday, 29th April, excluding 26th & 27th April, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in St. Anne School and Church premises.  Kindly register in the Church Office, by filling in the forms available on the community WhatsApp groups and the Church Office. 

9.    On the occasion of ‘World Health Day’ on 7th April, Holy Family Hospital is offering a 15% off on their Executive Health Check-up Plan from 1st April to 30th April, 2025.

10.    The Catholic Forum is putting up a Musical Enactment of the Stations of the Cross at two locations to observe the Jubilee Year.
